This Notice explains the browser storage and analytics technologies used by Kioku.
1. Necessary technologies
Clerk uses cookies or similar storage to authenticate users, maintain sessions, prevent abuse, and protect account access. These technologies are necessary for signed-in Kioku features.
2. Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is enabled by default to measure page views and product interactions. It may use cookies such as _ga and related identifiers to distinguish browsers and understand usage over time. We configure analytics so Client Record content—client names, contact information, notes, services, and photos—is not sent in analytics events.
3. Your choices
- Use browser controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in.
- Use Google’s browser opt-out tools or supported browser privacy settings to limit Google Analytics.
- Send Global Privacy Control where supported. We treat legally applicable signals as opt-out requests.
Traditional Do Not Track signals do not have a uniform legal standard. We consider them where technically and legally applicable but cannot promise every browser signal changes all processing.
4. No sale or targeted advertising
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not use cookies for targeted advertising.
5. Changes and contact
Kioku promotional emails do not add open-tracking pixels or tracked link redirects. Ordinary email providers may still process technical delivery metadata under their own policies.
